Woody Allen (Harry), Elisabeth Shue (Fay) et Billy Crystal (Larry) dans Harry dans tous ses états de Woody Allen (1997).
Harry Block (Woody Allen) est écrivain autant qu’il est obsédé sexuel. Son immaturité émotionnelle et son intellect omniprésent le font passer à côté d’une jeune femme en or, Fay (Elisabeth Shue). Après avoir été jeté dehors par sa seconde épouse (voir la scène), il tente de convaincre Fay de ne pas se marier avec Larry, un ami qu’il lui a présenté quand ils étaient ensemble. (Ci-dessous la scène en anglais. Le dialogue du film est elliptique, aussi certains bouts de texte ont été raccordés et la fin un poil modifiée. Traduction en français à venir.)
